ST. LOUIS, August 24, 2021 – Stifel Financial Corp. (NYSE: SF) today announced that financial advisor Gerardo “Ardo” Fuentes has joined the firm’s broker-dealer subsidiary, Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Incorporated, in Dallas.
A financial advisor since 2000, Mr. Fuentes comes to Stifel from Merrill Lynch, where he was responsible for $130 million in client assets.

Mr. Fuentes is the latest in the growing number of advisors in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex who have recently joined Stifel for its advisor-centric culture and lack of bureaucracy. Stifel’s four Dallas-Fort Worth-area offices have successfully navigated the recruiting challenges since early 2020, adding 16 advisors with nearly $3.3 billion in client assets since May 2020. These recent hires have increased Stifel’s advisor headcount in the Dallas-Fort Worth market from 23 to 39.
