ST. LOUIS, January 6, 2022 – Stifel Financial Corp. (NYSE: SF) today announced that NorthCoast Wealth Advisors has joined the firm’s broker-dealer subsidiary, Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Incorporated, in a new Private Client Group office in Holland, Michigan.
Consisting of Mark Zichterman, Managing Director/Investments; Gregg Mulder, Financial Advisor Associate; April Scholten, Client Relationship Manager; Kristen Kragt, Senior Registered Client Service Associate; and Kamarie Bloemendal, Client Service Associate, the NorthCoast Wealth Advisors team comes to Stifel from Raymond James, where it was responsible for $276 million in client assets.
“While we are thankful for almost 15 years of partnership with Raymond James, we were looking for a partner that would enable us to offer the personalized service of a boutique wealth management firm, while maintaining and expanding on the capabilities we have grown accustomed to providing for our clients. At the same time, we wanted to keep our independence as a wealth management business. Our ability to maintain autonomy and make the best decisions for our clients and our team locally, while still operating at a full-service investment firm, was and is paramount. I believe we have found the right partner at Stifel,” said Mr. Zichterman. “We are excited for these new beginnings, and we are excited to bring Stifel to Holland. This partnership will be a great addition to our local community, a great fit for our current NorthCoast clients and team, and a fresh new alternative for people seeking excellent wealth management in West Michigan.”
“We are very pleased to welcome Mark Zichterman and his team to Stifel,” said Alvin Spencer, Regional Director, Michigan. “Top advisors throughout Michigan continue to make Stifel their firm of choice, thanks to our unique advisor-centric culture and minimal bureaucracy. We’ve experienced tremendous growth in the state over the last five years, hiring 43 financial advisors with more than $6 billion in client assets. We’ve expanded our geographic footprint as well, with Holland marking our eighth new Michigan office in that time frame and our 19th in the state overall.”
