ST. LOUIS, October 7, 2021 – Stifel Financial Corp. (NYSE: SF) today announced that financial advisor Stephanie Turner has joined the firm’s broker-dealer subsidiary, Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Incorporated, as Managing Director/Investments in Waco, Texas.
Ms. Turner comes to Stifel from UBS Financial Services, Inc., where she was responsible for $900 million in client assets. Joining her are her husband, Robert Turner, Vice President/Investments; Marguerite Montgomery, Financial Advisor; and Shelly Hall, Client Relationship Manager.
“Our team is excited and energized by our decision to join Stifel,” said Ms. Turner. “As we contemplated our vison of what wealth management could and should be, we became convinced that there must be a more client-focused culture. Happily, we found a partner in Stifel that shares our client-first vision.”
They are the second female practice to join the firm in Texas in recent weeks. Affirming Stifel’s continued success attracting talented female advisors, Sonia Ginnell joined the firm’s Frisco office in August from Morgan Stanley, where she was responsible for $190 million in client assets.
Stifel’s advisor-centric culture and lack of bureaucracy continue to attract successful financial advisors throughout the state of Texas. So far in 2021, the firm has added 19 advisors with more than $4.3 billion in client assets in its Private Client Group offices in Bryan, Dallas, Frisco, Sugar Land, and Waco.
“Stifel has long been the firm of choice for veteran advisors who are looking for an open-architecture platform, an entrepreneurial culture, and an environment where they and their clients are respected,” said Bob Johnson, Managing Director, Southwest Region. “As we continue to grow in Texas and beyond, we are looking to open in markets where we currently do not have a presence and expand in the markets where we do.”
